Who we are

I believe my role, as your therapist, is to help you identify and remove the barriers that are preventing you from having the healthy and full life that you seek. Sometimes other people cause hurt or harm and sometimes we do it to ourselves.

There is a path to healing and it would be my honor to walk by your side in that journey.

You’re not crazy… and you’re not alone.

  • Clinical Director

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience in the field of social work. I have worked in a number of areas, including addiction recovery, child and family welfare, community mental health, domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as medical, law enforcement, and military.

I have extensive experience in working with PTSD and complex trauma. I am trained in biofeedback, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, I utilize a variety of cognitive and somatic interventions in a holistic approach to assist people in reaching their goals.

I believe that if something is worth doing, then it’s worth doing well. For that reason, I engage in ongoing education and training to enhance what I can offer to my clients. I am currently enrolled in a certificate program in Traumatic Studies through the Traumatic Research Foundation. I am also pursuing an in-depth course in Internal Family Systems.

Some of my favorite books are The Body Keeps the Score by Bassel van der Kolk, In the Realm ofHungry Ghosts by Gabor Maté, Anchored by Deb Dana, and the Bible. These resources continually shape my approach to healing, trauma, and human connection.

I am a child of God, saved by grace through faith, and walk confidently in the knowledge that He fulfills His promises to us. As such, I take the commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself” seriously. For me, this means that I commit to providing compassionate, non-judgmental care to each person I work with, regardless of our differences. It is my honor to be able to live this out both personally and professionally.
